Little Mill Carpentry recently installed 2 velux windows in tandem in our landing roof, replacing one old larger velux window. Chris, who did the installation, was at all times polite, prompt, and tidy. He gave good advice from his knowledge of Velux products and overall we were very pleased with the result. More light has been achieved on the landing and it looks aesthetically better. We are hoping that he will do some more work for us in the future.
And whats more he didn’t drain us of tea and coffee!!
My experience with Chris and Felicity has been excellent from start to finish and I thoroughly recommend using them. Advice from the start has been 100% honest and accurate and the workmanship second to none. I live in a very small flat and was worried about mess and potential damage to plasterboard. Chris and team recently fitted Velux windows in both our kitchen and a very dark bedroom in our bungalow. They constructed large light wells from the tiled roof through the loft space to ceiling level in both rooms. We are really pleased with the results and the amount of light in the rooms now. We used Little Mill Carpentry for the first time recently and had exceptional service throughout. Felicity was very helpful and efficient with costings and practical information. Chris did a site visit beforehand to discuss our concerns. We had a new Velux window installed in my daughter’s bedroom and it was done after just 3-4 weeks of my initial enquiry. It has been done very professionally and with attention to detail. Little Mill Carpentry have organised a plasterer to come to finish off the work soon. I was very impressed with this company especially having got no where with one or two others to do the job. I will definitely be using them again when we need more work doing.

In January 2020 we had new Velux windows fitted in our loft. During the fitting we had concerns and last October we discovered a leak.
Velux appointed Little Mill Carpentry the task of refitting our windows. Chris, Felicity and their team were very efficient and professional in their working. It is very hard to find good workman in this area and we would certainly recommend Little Mill Carpentry. Chris kept us informed of progress and ensured we were happy with all stages of the work. He had to undertake more work than was expected due to the original installer.
We wanted to say how impressed we have been throughout this whole process. We are very happy with the result and feel very reassured. It was a shock to see how badly the windows were fitted in the first instance.
